A real cabin with wood beams, stone accents, views of mountains from the 1200 SQFT deck, and quality cabin decor, Woodglen is set apart from all other homes in Big Bear Lake. Only 5-minutes from Bear Mountain and Snow Summit and two minutes to the lake, Mighty Bear Manor is the perfect cabin to escape with your friends and family.

This custom-built magnificent estate is located in Castle Glen Estates which is the most prestigious area of Big Bear Lake. Equipped and decorated with quality cabin amenities, this 5,600 square foot log cabin provides open living spaces to share with family and numerous secluded nooks to escape. Mighty Bear Manor has 7 large bedrooms, each with a flat-panel TV and DVD. Three stories of luxury cabin entertainment that includes the following:

FIRST FLOOR-'Fishing and Hunting' themed game room with pool table, 54-inch HDTV plasma, 32-inch HDTV plasma, DVD, Nintendo Wii, Wii games, card table, dartboard, air hockey table, ping pong table, fireplace, a talking buck, and whimsical fishing and hunting decor. The first floor also offers a large private suite with two queen beds, walk-in closet, and a themed bathroom. You can enter the game room from the 4+ car garage or two separate stairwells from the great room.

SECOND FLOOR- The 'Bear' themed main floor offers over 2600 square feet of living space that includes a great room with two-story tall ceilings and windows, a wood-burning fireplace, and four separate view decks with an additional 1000+ square feet of outdoor living each with inspiring 180-degree views. A 60-inch projection TV with a DVD player entertains the family in the living room. The kitchen is a full-service, fully equipped gathering spot with a breakfast bar, large table, and a 200 square foot deck, and a BBQ grill. The Primary Bedroom is on this floor and has two-story high vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a large private deck, a large king bed, a 50 inch HDTV plasma, and a gas-burning fireplace. The master bath has a shower with two shower heads and plenty of elbow room! A second smaller Primary Bedroom has a king bed with a walk-in closet and full bathroom. The bunk room is right next to the Primary Bedroom and can sleep six kids or four adults easily in two twin/full bunk bed combos. Lastly, the backyard deck is 300 square feet with a brand new, 2011, 6-person hot tub and a brand-new BBQ. There are over 200 bears to be found, small and large.

THIRD FLOOR - 'Moose' themed library has two quiet and private bedrooms, both with queen beds and a loft with its own queen bed. On this floor are places to relax, read, work on the computer, or admire the custom log beam details of the cathedral ceilings.

Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback rides, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation.

Home Truths:
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Use of outdoor spas and other outdoor activities are prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am.
​​​​​​​- No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.
- Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle.
- This home can accommodate 16 people but a maximum of 10 adults.
- Please note, all persons (including infants, children and visitors) at the home are counted towards the total occupancy of the home. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time.
- Guests are responsible for disposing trash at local dumpsite in accordance with City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on property
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
