Summary: The chalets themselves were fantastic. Very clean and unique. The location itself was 30 minutes up a dirt track, which was not worth the effort when exploring the Wells Gray National Park. The restaurant was overpriced with an uninspiring menu. The complex has no shop to buy supplies and the cafe operates on limited hours. The breakfast was the worst we have had in Canada so far, with staff taking bin bags out through the restaurant. This place could be magical but it feels half-baked. We asked advice from the front desk and was advised to speak to the tourist information and google things. If you’re looking for a base for exploring the area, look elsewhere.
