Located in a quiet neighborhood and features beautiful views of the Bodega Bay and the marina. The home has a private, secluded feel while being walking distance to several restaurants and the beach.
The backyard borders Bodega Dunes state park, so you can walk 15 minutes through the backyard on the dunes to a secluded ocean beach. Explore a little further and go to Bodega Head where gray whales tend to come the closest to the shore.
The house itself welcomes you to a spacious redwood front deck, wrapping around the house. There is a hot tub and a small garden located on the side of the house.
Step through the front door and feel right at home with the brightly lit open floor plan. The living room windows look out onto the deck with a scenic view of Bodega Bay. Feel cozy with the gas fireplace in the evening hours.
In the dining area, the hand-built wood slab table seats 8 people. With a full set of serving and dining ware, you have all you need to cook your favorite meal. Directly adjacent to the dining room is open layout kitchen. Hand built wood cabinets and modern equipment make it both inviting and functional. Thera are: stainless steel fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a gas stove. Step outside through the French doors and barbecue on our gas grill.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms, both feature French doors opening up to the back deck. One room includes a California King Bed and the other two twin beds. The downstairs bathroom has a bathtub and a shower over bathtub.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms and bathroom. The main bedroom with King bed is spacious with high ceilings and bay windows with seating area, perfect for reading a book or gazing out onto the bay. The queen size bedroom overlooks the garden. The remodeled light-filled bathroom has a large window overlooking the dunes and an oversize shower. All bedrooms feature premium linens and lots of storage.
The two lounge chairs and a round table on the front deck is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view during breakfast, lunch or snacks and glass of wine. There is also smaller coffee table in the garden, owners favourite spot for a beverage any time of the day.
Enjoy the secluded privacy that the house and garden offer, or step out and in minutes you can check out the casual neighborhood of Bodega Bay Marina where you can try famous clam chowder at Spud Point Crab Company or go for an amazing dinner to Michelin star restaurant Terrapin Creek located just 15 minutes walking from the house.
