Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location of the property is good with decent access to public transport. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Very secure premises with 2 separate doors and locks. Friendly host, very responsive via WhatsApp. Nice apartment equipped with kitchen and basic kitchen appliances and ingredients.

Negative: It is on the 4th floor without elevator, hence it would be extremely challenging to reach the apartment with luggage/kids/stollers or even for people with walking disability. Parking is a nightmare since there are no parking spaces on the street. Closest paid parking space is about 500m away but expensive (€25/day). Not at all comfortable if you have a car and/or luggage. Shower is extremely disappointing since there’s no hot water and the pressure is very low. An old apartment, but could use better bathroom fixtures like shower head, lights.

Summary: Decent stay at the center of Bergamo (new town), ideal if you don’t have a car or heavy luggage and willing to climb 4 f
