The antique villa "Can Sion" is a small patch of paradise. The property, which consists of three buildings, is more than 100 years old and has been perfectly renovated and equipped to a high standard. The buildings are orientated towards the south and surrounded by an incredibly beautiful garden. At first glance it looks like it grows naturally, but on looking more closely, you realise that the garden architecture with its palms and other trees, flowers, lush green lawns and even an orchard has been cleverly planned. It is also wonderfully decorated with antique agricultural tools, numerous terracotta flower pots, and discreetly positioned decorative items. Our photographer immediately fell in love with this property, and we also believe that a painted picture doesn't reflect its beauty properly. The pool is located directly next to the outbuilding, with absolutely practical outside bathroom with toilet and a bedroom. The terrace extension has a roofed area with a barrel-like wood panelling - the atmosphere at the large dining table is really magnificent, especially in the evening, when you, completely relaxed, prepare your barbecue at the free-standing outdoor cooker. You can also sit on the comfortable aluminum sunbeds or spend far too rare quality time together in one of the other seating areas with classic wicker chairs and comfortable lounge chairs while enjoying the fabulous view.
The interior design of all three buildings fits into the pleasant garden idyll and forms a successful combination of rustic Mallorcan country house style with classic elegance. Large wooden window fronts immerse the main house, with its spacious living room, in soft light. A bright couch set, a cast-iron fireplace and many lovingly collected details create a homely, pleasant atmosphere. Behind the salon, there is a double bedroom with a hand-turned -bed and an en-suite bathroom, contemporary modern and characterised by natural stone tiles and a walk-in shower. The adjacent outbuilding houses only the magnificent kitchen with a long dining table in the centre. Visible quarry stone masonry, large glass sliding doors, large-format floor tiles, and a cosy fireplace give this great room its character, which fulfills far more than just a kitchen function. The refined details define the interior with brick cabinets, stainless steel fridge, dried pimiento strings, and an ensemble of glass ball lamps, to name just a few of the countless, loving details you can find here. The second bedroom, with direct access to the garden, is also located in the outbuilding next to the pool. The two single rooms are supplemented by an extra bed, which is ideal for a child. The picturesque property is thus particularly suitable for one to two couples with a child or a family with two children.

The mountain village of Esporles, situated 4 km away in a valley on the southern side of the mountains of Tramuntana, has some nice cafes and small, local restaurants. The charming fishing village of Port de Canonges has a bathing bay with an impressive viewing platform as well as a few very pleasant restaurants. There is an easy hiking trail leading from there to the neighbouring coastal town of Banyalbufar. It will guide you along the coast on narrow trails through a pine forest. Bordered by steep cliffs rock faces on the one side, and wild coastline on the other, you will enjoy breathtaking views over the turquoise sea. Thanks to the villa's proximity to a country road with very little traffic, and thus only partially audible, you can go anywhere easily and comfortably. Valldemossa, a village with romantic houses in a picturesque scenery, is also worth a visit. All bedroom and bathroom linen is included. Bath towels are also provided.
