But with a 25 minute drive, you can experience the history and enchantment of the Biltmore Estate, and all the celebrated restaurants, breweries, and unique shopping of Asheville. You can also enjoy hiking, biking, and rafting, or explore quaint towns like Black Mountain and Brevard. On the other hand, you might find you prefer just hanging out at the cabin, which is surrounded by natural beauty, and has all the comforts and amenities you need to relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends.

We renovated this cabin to add the comforts of zoned central heat and air and new plumbing fixtures, while keeping it's rustic charm.
Upstairs is a bedroom overlooking the deck with King bed, second bedroom with Queen bed, and a full bath with tub and hand-held shower. The fully-equipped kitchen with dining area is open to the living room. This has a stone, wood-burning fireplace and door to the 30ft covered deck with swing, rockers, and dining table overlooking woods and long-range mountain views.
Downstairs is an open sitting, sleeping, TV and game area. There are 2 full beds, a chaise longue, pool and poker tables, foosball, puzzles and games to enjoy with your friends and family. Downstairs also opens onto a lower 30ft deck where you can enjoy a double hammock, grill, and corn hole. There is a full bath with tub, and washer and dryer downstairs. There is also a daybed with a mattress that can be moved to anywhere a child might want to sleep. The downstairs has a door at the bottom of the stairs that can be closed for privacy. The 43in smart TV does not receive cable, but you can log into your own streaming services to enjoy your favorite movies and shows.
In warm weather, the central air, ceiling fans in all rooms, and dehumidifier will ensure your comfort. In the Autumn and Winter, stay cozy in front of the fireplace, and enjoy the warmth of central heat while the hickories, oaks and maples put on a colourful show! In the morning, take your coffee onto the deck, where you can only hear birds, and if you listen carefully on Sunday morning, organ music playing in the distance. Drive 5 minutes from the cabin for a spectacular hike or spend your day in Asheville, Chimney Rock or Lake Lure. In the evening, gather, relax, and swap stories around the firepit.
This is a great place to hike with your dog! We welcome your well-behaved dog under 75 pounds with the $100 pet fee and if you agree to the pet policy. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHEN YOU BOOK IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR DOG. If you are not a pet lover, don't worry, we pride ourselves on keeping the house clean.
