Your Athens football, graduation, and alumni weekend family HQ. This house was built in 1937 and completely renovated in 2018. It's a 1-mile walk to the UGA campus, and an even quicker stroll to food, drinks, and shopping in Five Points.
The space
This Five Points home features four bedrooms, three full baths, a gourmet kitchen, and ample seating inside and out. It's close to great restaurants and bars, a grocery store, coffee shops, Memorial Park, and the Birchmore Trail. Sanford Stadium is close enough that you can hear the crowd roar after every big play.
The lay of the land
Located in the heart of Five Points, this home is filled with original art (including pieces from local artist Lou Kregel), limited edition prints and photos, a large collection of art, design, and cooking books, and tasteful modern and vintage furniture.
The lower level of this home features a gourmet kitchen with a 6-burner Wolf range, large French-door refrigerator, and stainless farm sink. There is a dedicated workspace just off the kitchen—catch up on those last-minute emails before tailgating commences.
Just off one side of the kitchen is a gigantic screened in porch, where your entire party can eat together at the large dining table, or hang out on the outdoor couch and chairs.
Back inside the house, the kitchen also opens into a dining room with ample seating for everyone. After meals, head into the living room, where the sectional sofa and vintage lounge chairs give everyone plenty of room to relax. Binge your favorite shows on the wall-mounted 50" Fire TV.
Sleeping
The primary bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom is upstairs. The bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower, and a jetted tub.
Two more bedrooms are located upstairs as well, each with a queen bed. These bedrooms have access to a full bath in the hallway with a single vanity and tub shower.
The fourth bedroom is downstairs and features a queen bed (and its very own 43" Fire TV). This bedroom has close access to a full bath with a single vanity and tub shower.
