Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The house was large and well-appointed. It would be a great place to stay in the winter.

Negative: The house has no air conditioning, and it gets exceedingly hot during the day. It has lots of windows that open up in the evening to try to cool down the house, which wouldn't be bad, but there are no screens, and it's overrun with bugs. Which they did know about, and they do give you some bug sprays. And they do say that it is part of being in the bush. I must say that we stayed on the west side of the island in the bush. The bush was right up to the door, and we had little to no bugs. The house was excellent, but without air conditioning and/or screens on the windows. I would not stay there during the summer again due to the number of bugs and the excessive heat.
