Burroughs–Foland Farm is a historic home and farm located at Livingston, Columbia County, New York. The main farmhouse was built in 1908 and is a 2 1/2-story, Mission Revival style, stuccoed hollow tile dwelling. It features a full-width, tripartite arched front porch, flanking side porches, and hipped roof of red barrel tile. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
The space
This home has been in our family for 50 plus years. Most of the light fixtures are original, and the dark oak trim and wood flooring remain intact. This is a unique and special home and holds a lot of memories for us. Behind every crack, there probably is a story to be told, or feel free to write your own.

Please be mindful that the home is situated on a working agricultural farm (no farm animals). It is also located on a main highway, but setback from the road. Honestly, we never considered the location noisy, but maybe we just got use to the noise of farm life.

The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through September 15th. (No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.)

The bedroom with twin beds shares a bathroom with the green bedroom that has a king bed. The other two bedrooms have their own bathrooms. All bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a bathroom and shower off of the kitchen.

Each bedroom has a new portable air conditioning unit. The house tends to stay cool, if you open the front door at night, and close it during the day.

There is a new BBQ gas grill for those who like to cook outside.

The basement and attic are not for guest use.

There is a TV located in the downstairs living room with basic cable service. There is a fire stick available for guest use. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
