The dining table is a 6 seater, set up in an open plan space with the entertainment/ lounge area and kitchen. All with a view of the ocean through the perimeter fence.
The property is within very close walking distance of Kalk Bay central and the harbor. Many of our guests like to get freshly caught fish from the harbor and BBQ it back at the house. A must-do while staying by the ocean and so close to the harbor.

There is a monitor on the wall in the kitchen with access to the security cameras which strictly only cover the exterior of the property.
The apartment has been newly renovated, it is a beautiful heritage building.
Please note: The house is located on the main road, with a train that also passes close by. If you are a very light sleeper ear plugs can be beneficial.
Unfortunately, South Africa is dealing with rolling blackouts on a scheduled basis. This means that power outages are scheduled for up to 2hrs at a time, mainly early morning and late evening.
We do not have a backup generator in the building to mitigate this. We do provide electric lanterns and guests are still able to cook as the stove is gas (there is also braai/ woodfire BBQ).
Load shedding is an unfortunate reality for the country that affects 80% of the population.
