Positive: Very clean.Very friendly and helpful host. Swimming pool was awsome!!! We travelled with our Golden Retriever girl.We would have liked her to swim with us too, but since the swimming pool was also shared by other guests, we took her to the dog beach Single Fin in Calambrone.Which was only 20 min drive away from the location.And was the perfect place for her and for us too. The place where we stayed(La Cantina del Pontedere dei Boni), is, in our opinion a piece of Heaven on Earth. The vegetation, the tranquility, the swimming pool, the apartment equipped with everything for an "at home feeling", with a big plus for the AC, which, to be honest, after our experiences in Carrara(it"s true many many years ago), we did not expect, but it was a pleasant surprise. And last but not least, Michetto, the gorgeous Golden Retriever belonging to Sylvia, the host.With his Sophia Loren eye-colour...a real pleasure for canine lovets to admire such a beautiful Golden. We were sorry he was too energetic for our Cynthia(she is 9, he's only 4), but for us he was always a presence to enjoy. Very good asian restaurant 5 min drive from the location.UBE Sushi lab in Collesalvetti,open till 11 pm.A must try!!!

Negative: We do not know if there is a definitive solution for the mosquitoes outside which don't waste any time to feed themselves on you, no matter the time...with the exception when you're in the pool area, and in the pool. Secondly, but this is something that probably is the responsibility of the mayor. The access road to the property, as well as other properties in the neighborhood is like a country road, very well ingrained in the whole idyllic countryside atmosphere of the surroundings, but not too favorable for the car's shock absorbers.Maybe some asphalt would solve the problem. I am not sure if the owners of ths properties in the area wish that the road be kept as such, or they have to wait until the city hall appropriates some funds to asphalt ths acces road.

Summary: Perfect vacation, although only 2 weeks,but it was worth it.
