Experience lakeside living with Element Escapes at our 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment at Frankton Marina, perched on the stunning shores of Lake Wakatipu. Ideal for couples, small families, or groups, this private apartment provides everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay.
The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware, and all essentials for easy meal preparation. The open-plan dining and living area is perfect for socialising or unwinding after a day exploring Queenstown.
Comfort is guaranteed with a heat pump/AC, heaters in each bedroom, and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Entertainment is seamless with a TV in the living area, a second flat-screen in the main bedroom, and unlimited WiFi.
Communal BBQs are available throughout the complex, and the balcony offers a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking lake views.
The complex is perfectly situated, a 10 minute drive from the heart of Queenstown or a 5 Kilometre walk along the Frankton walking and biking track which runs alongside the lake. Close enough to be able to soak up the atmosphere and character of this unique little town, whilst also being far enough away to ensure you can relax away from the hustle and bustle on quieter evenings spent at your apartment. The apartment is also just a short 2 minute walk along the lake front to the famous Boat Shed cafe serving breakfast & dinner as well as Altitude brewery, a great place to chill out and try a wide variety of local beers and ciders, many of which are brewed on site.
We prep the apartment before you arrive leaving it with clean linen and towels. We also only use only green and organic cleaning materials and supplies to ensure we are doing our bit for the environment. During your stay the apartment will not be serviced; if you require servicing we can arrange this for you.

Summary: I didn’t realize this condo was in Frankton versus Queenstown but that ended up being a good thing I thinkQueenstown was very crowded, busy; Frankton is close (if you have a car) but not as crowded, busyOur final payment didn’t go through automatically; so I did that upon arrival; got the check-in information after that; was a little tricky finding the condo because it’s in the middleThe view was nice but definitely partially obstructedUpon arrival, the condo was clean other than the interior of the stoveOverall, the condo is spacious with basic furnishingsI loved the heated floor in the bathroomIt was helpful to have a washer, dryer with detergentWe were disappointed to learn there is no hot tub on the properly; despite that being included on the VRBO descriptionAnd there was nothing “smart” about the TV in the living room as far as we could tell; just got a couple local TV channelsThe property manager was very responsive to my emails; especially given we were there over ChristmasWe enjoyed walking along the path around the lakeWe also enjoyed the brewery and a couple of the restaurants at the marinaPlus the jet boat :-)
