Positive: Everything! Exceptional. Superb. Family run with brilliant staff. Attention to detail was exemplary. Authentic home cooked Austrian cuisine and interesting cocktails and Austrian wines. Sabine and Stefan made us feel so welcome in their home and they are quite rightly very proud of their Austrian heritage. The decor, fixtures and fittings are all top quality. Clearly no expense spared. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Swimming pool water quality checked regularly. Comfortable sunbeds. Top quality outside furniture. Dinner on terrace when weather permits. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Beautiful walks on dedicated tracks leading to breathtaking views over St Gilgen and Fuschl and beyond.

Negative: NOTHING! Ideally a car is beneficial. A 45 min walk to Fuschl bus stop. But lovely, easy walk along private road through woodland and open pastures. We found easy to walk down in mornings but best to get a taxi back from Fuschl after a days sightseeing.
