The space
Our mountaintop cabin awaits..with amazing views overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. 3 bedroom and 3 bath private retreat offers quick access to quaint downtown Waynesville and local shopping.
Vaulted wooden ceilings soar above the living area, creating an inviting lodge-like ambiance. Snuggle up by the stone fireplace or prepare favorite recipes in the modern kitchen. Make yourself at home in the living area, anchored by a wood-burning fireplace with a dramatic stone surround. Stream new shows on the smart TV. The loft area is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa and a laptop-friendly desk. The kitchen is all stainless steel appliances -- including double ovens as well as a Keurig and coffee machine.
The first floor bedroom features a king bed with direct access to the wraparound deck through the french doors. The adjacent bathroom is configured with a jetted tub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom upstairs features a queen bed and a twin bed. Another full bathroom can be found in the loft. The third bedroom on the bottom floor includes a queen bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The best part about our cabin is the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge mountains, you can even see part of the parkway from the deck. The property is secluded with no cabins within sight, this is a quiet setting allowing for a restful and rejuvenating getaway. A gas grill is on the wraparound deck with a table for six. During the hot summer days the ceiling fans can cool you off while sipping on your favorite drink.
Don’t forget to take a short 15 minute drive to the blue ridge parkway and head in either direction for awesome amazing views by car. The mountain to sea trail expands the entire breadth of the parkway and allows for some great hikes. Grab your daypack and get out and enjoy nature.
No smoking allowed, there is a $500 fine taken from security deposit if smoking is noticed.. Any pets that are not disclosed and pet fee not paid for at time of booking will be doubled and taken out of the security deposit. Any house rule violated results in immediate cancellation and removal from home. (3 Highly visible outdoor security cameras, Main entrance camera covers a portion of the grassy mountainside and firewood pile, Driveway camera covers the downward paved portion the drive and part of the dirt road, Overhead garage camera covers the gravel parking lot area and a portion of wooden stairs going up to deck front)
Weather can change quickly in the mountains so please plan accordingly before and during your stay incase a snow storm rolls in. We do recommend an AWD vehicle or one with a high clearance and great wheels for the steep dirt roads. No mini-vans. Please note these are mountain roads and will be different than what you may be used to if you come from flat lands. Sorry no outdoor fires are allowed and no firewood is provided.
