Summary: We stayed at this beautiful beach house from June 23 to June 30 2025 and it was everything we hoped for and more. The location is incredibly quiet and private and offers a spectacular view of the ocean that made every day feel like a retreat.The house itself was luxurious, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we immediately felt at home. What truly sets this place apart is the ocean-facing living room, where we spent countless hours in the swivel chairs just watching the ever-changing water. We regularly spotted porpoises, seals, and a variety of seabirds right from inside the house, using the provided binoculars. :)One unforgettable detail was the smell that greeted us when we first stepped out of the car: a mix of salt air and wild roses. It's nearly impossible to describe, but it instantly set the tone for the week: fresh, calming, and almost magical.The house was also the perfect base to explore southeastern Nova Scotia and its many beautiful beaches. The sunrises were breathtaking, and we even found ourselves imagining what it would be like to spend Christmas here, with a tree by the window and the ocean as a backdrop. Honestly, we could have easily stayed the whole summer.A big thank you to our host, Lorrie, for the warm welcome and excellent communication. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic, and nature-filled escape, this place is truly special.
