Of course it wouldn’t be Italy without wine, there are many wine tasting experiences close by and the Umbrian wine is delicious.
Other activities include golf at the Antognella golf club only 15 mins drive away. There is also lake Trasimeno to enjoy. You can take the ferry to Isola Maggiore and enjoy lunch in one of several restaurants. Maybe hire a boat for the morning or afternoon from Passignano and have a swim in the lake.
The nearest airport to Montone is Perugia approx 40 minutes away. Ancona is 90 minutes and Florence is 2 hours. Rome airport is 2.5 hours.
