Positive: The amazing view - The photos do not do it justice! The property is brand new, as is everything inside! Pots, plates, through to an iron and a washing machine. The bed and cool sofa bed are comfortable. Super clean linen and towels. Great shower The host was friendly and knowledgeable, speaking great English. He is also a taxi driver, should you need one. The location is perfect to wander around Castelmola, catch a bus to one of the amazing beaches or Taormina. The property also has a parking space - just ensure you book it, as there is no other parking...and the hills are steep! Parking spaces can be found on the other side of the hill for 15Euros per 24 hours (20 min walk away) Hire a small car if you're heading this way, the roads are windy, and parking spaces in Sicily are small and limited. There is a great walk down to Taormina, opposite Mimma's house. Great restaurants can be found in Castelmona, all within walking distance, up and down steps. Easy to get lost and found.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. Really! Oh, I guess it's worth mentioning, the apartment is located in one of the highest villages in the area, so it's worth noting if you have vertigo.
