LOCATED just 6 miles from Damascus, VA, this pristine HORSE FARM is adjacent to the Cherokee National Forest, with miles of trails and a great hike to Gentry Creeks Double Waterfall! Also, nice walks by the creek and into the National Forest. We have just built an upstairs living space in our historic timber framed barn built in the 1800's!! The river runs right beside it, and it offers a lovely view of the farm! Away from town, we offer a peaceful retreat environment. Please note, this loft has a private feel but it is a working horse farm and there are 2 families who live on this 100 Acre farm. If you don't mind seeing some other people around from time to time, this is a beautiful spot! The loft has one bedroom with King size bed, living room, bathroom w/shower and FULL kitchen. The kitchen has a full sized frig and stove and is fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, micro wave, drip thru coffee maker, toaster oven. We welcome pets, but there is an additional pet fee and pets MUST BE CRATED IF LEFT ALONE, NO EXCEPTIONS!. Please pay pet fee once here. $50 for one and $45 for each dog over 35lbs. FIRE PIT AVAILABLE right by the creek. There is a great brewery in Damascus and a lovely winery in Abingdon, Va.
