The upper level provides an additional two bedrooms both with queen beds (with trundles), a cozy reading nook with a day bed, and a full bathroom.
While the main cabin would be exceptional within itself, the experience of Cold Creek Pass is best fulfilled outside. Set on 50 private acres, guests can explore walking trails strategically leading to a substantial amount of shoreline on the west branch of the Ausable River, renowned for its incredible fly fishing.
Guests can access the number of canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards for a summer day down at the river located just a few hundred yards from the lodge. Along your walk, you will come across a quaint apple orchard where you may find a few deer sneaking a snack.
Your outdoor enjoyment doesn't stop at the river! After a day of skiing or a cool summer evening- nothing will beat your wood-fired sauna session. Additionally, guests can look forward to s'mores at the campfire and escaping afternoon rain showers in the quintessential Adirondack lean-to.
Located in Wilmington, NY, Cold Creek Pass is one of the closest residences to Whiteface Mountain and the beach at Lake Everest. Guests can look forward to Songs at the River and ice cream cones at Whitebrook Dairy barn during the summer months. During the winter months, guests can take a quick drive to the outdoor rink located just a few miles away.
Cold Creek Pass is approximately 15 minutes to downtown Lake Placid.
