The Space:
Welcome to Solitude Village! This slopeside neighborhood allows you to park right outside your front door in the shared driveway and enter through the front door. During your ski day, there is an additional entrance on the backside of the townhouse located directly on the trail for your convenience.
Entering Solitude B2, you're greeted by a large mudroom with built-in cubbies, lots of storage, bench seating to kick off your ski boots, and an updated half-bath. A small laundry room is also available for your use during your stay with a washer and dryer.
The main living space is extremely inviting with a sprawling kitchen ready for your vacation meals featuring all updated appliances, granite countertops, a large sink, and plenty of pantry space. The breakfast bar is a great spot for a quick breakfast with room for four. Dine at the dining table set for eight guests with sweeping views of the ski trail and enjoy riders passing by. Plus, there is a built-in drink fridge in the dining room for convenient beverage storage.
The heart of the home is the cozy living room featuring cathedral ceilings, a soaring wood-burning fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, a comfy sectional for relaxing, and a perfect place to soak in the views of the mountain or a movie after your day on the slopes.
The primary bedroom is located on the second floor and offers our guests ample privacy. The large bedroom features a king-sized bed, skylights, a dresser, and a television. The best part about this suite is the private spa-like bathroom. Enter into the "powder room" with a vanity and mirror and then move into the expansive bathroom with soft bench seating as if you've entered the spa. The oversized shower has beautiful stone tilework with a glass door and two shower heads. The double vanity is perfect for couples with a separate toilet area. Plus, the radiant flooring keeps your toes warm throughout the winter. This stunning bathroom alone should be one reason to book this vacation! There is also a small desk area on the lofted landed to the second level, perfect for those working remotely.
The secondary bedroom is located on the main level directly off of the kitchen. This suite features a private bathroom, a king-sized bed, and sliding doors to access the private patio for morning coffee. The bunk room sleeps four guests and has a private full bathroom as well. This is the perfect place for kids and teens who want their own space for games, and movie nights. This room has access to the sliding doors to access the back patio and ski trails.
This location allows you direct access to the Solitude Express Quad, which is a low-traffic location with minimal lines even on busy weekends and holidays. The Solitude ski area offers a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced ski trails as well as glades and bumps. This chairlift also allows you to ski toward the Sunburst Six Chairlift for summit access. The Solitude Day Lodge is this community's shared recreation space with an outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, game room, and locker room. On the main level, the slopeside restaurant, 43 North, is typically open on weekdays and weekends with a delicious lunch menu. Stop in for a quick hot chocolate break or dine inside or on the deck in the sunshine.
