The Overlook is a one level home featuring a spacious open living plan. The wide open kitchen/dining/living area is the perfect place for families to gather and cook and enjoy their favorite meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped with all your cooking needs and includes a coffee maker, dishwasher and microwave, stove and refrigerator. A long bar separates the kitchen from the living area. The dining area is also a great place to play board games or cards or have some friendly competition with the foosball table. The living area is furnished with a reclining sofa and a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV with Dish satellite and a DVD player. The electric fireplace and knotty pine walls add to the cozy atmosphere of the living area.
The master bedroom provides a king-size bed with a master bath. The second bedroom features a set of heavy wood bunk beds, with safety rails on both sides of the top bunk, and a full size bed - perfect for your family of any age and a flat screen TV with Dish satellite. The second full size bath is located just outside of the second bedroom and has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The Overlook is secluded from the lodge and other cabins. There is a small back porch with a large propane grill. There is also a covered front porch for you to sit on and enjoy the view of the rolling lawn in front of you. We have two state parks, several lakes, trout fishing, and numerous hiking trails. Lake Rabun and Lake Burton have boat and pontoon boat rentals. These lakes have public beaches with picnic areas and restrooms. Terrora Park has a beach area also. They are great places to go kayaking too! Rabun County is a wonderful place to visit for people of all ages.
