The area is steeped in history, with beautiful Medieval and Rennaissance towns such as San Quirico dÕOrcia, Bagno Vignoni and Castiglione diÕOrcia all less than 10km away. Pienza, famous for its palaces and pecorino cheese, is 25 minutes away. Siena is an hour away, hosting the famous medieval joust 'Il Palio di Siena' every year. Wine lovers can visit Montalcino and Montepulciano (30 minutes) to taste and buy wines directly from the producers. The closest airports are Perugia (1 hour and 30 minutes) and Florence (1 hour 50 minutes).
