Upon arrival, we discovered the house was **unlocked** because the previous guest took the key, leaving us without secure access for our entire stay. Additionally, there were **no towels or washcloths** provided, which was extremely inconvenient. The listing also mentioned an **ice maker**, but it was either missing or non-functional. These issues significantly impacted our comfort and safety. While the host may not have been directly responsible for the key incident, better communication and preparation (like ensuring essentials are stocked and verifying amenities) would have improved the experience. We hope future guests don’t encounter the same problems.
