Welcome to lake life! Our cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The large living area has an open floor plan which is great for entertaining and being with family and friends. The kitchen is fully appointed with stainless steel appliances, dishes, and cookware for any occasion. The main living area looks out over the beautiful lake. There is a large leather couch and recliner plus streaming TV and Wifi. A large balcony off of the living room provides a perfect place for morning coffee or relaxing any time of the day in the cozy rocking chairs. One level down is the open deck area with patio table, gas grill, and lounge chairs. This area is large enough for your entire group to congregate in comfort. You will also have access on this level to the basement which houses an extra refrigerator, game room, and laundry facilities. The private dock area is a few flights of stairs down from the deck area. Each flight offers a landing for viewing the lake while taking advantage of the well placed seats and benches. At the dock, you will find 2 separate areas for swimming and fishing. Two kayaks and a paddle boat with life jackets are available for your use (signed liability waiver required) at no extra charge. This is a private lake so no other boats are allowed. For evenings, we have a fire pit for everyone to enjoy an evening campfire. We are within a half hour drive from beautiful Brown County State Park and the unique eclectic town of Nashville, Indiana. Downtown Franklin IN is 20 minutes away and has some great craft beer breweries. If you're looking for an urban day trip, we are one hour from downtown Indianapolis including the Indianapolis Zoo, Monument Circle, and the world renowned Children's Museum. If you prefer, you can also catch a game at IU Bloomington an hour south. Looking for a day of shopping? The Edinburgh Outlet Mall is less than 30 minutes away as well. So many activities to chose from which are all on site or a short drive: swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boating, hiking, shopping, eating out, and barbecuing! Perfect for a long term stay for work or family. Plenty of room for friends and family with beds for 6 people and one extra twin mattress for a little extra room.
