Nearby dining options range from casual cafés to well regarded restaurants, and the area is well placed for accessing walking tracks and seasonal sculpture trails. Wineries such as Mudbrick and Cable Bay are a short drive away, offering dining with wide views across the harbour, while The Heke Brewery is also easily reached for casual meals and drinks.
Oneroa’s central position makes it an ideal base for exploring further afield while keeping day to day conveniences close at hand.

The studio is well located for guests travelling without a car. Local buses run from Oneroa through to Onetangi, stopping near Mudbrick, Cable Bay, Stonyridge, Tantalus, and The Heke Brewery, before continuing to the passenger ferry terminal at Matiatia.
Taxis and shuttle services are available on the island but can be limited during peak periods. Parking is available at the property for guests who choose to bring a car.
