Summary: Although we had a hard time getting up to the house at night, almost getting stuck on the gravel driveway when we went right instead of left, we finally figured out where we were to go. There’s no cell service, so the need to take screenshots of the directions is imperative. When we finally drove up the winding, steep driveway, we were amazed at how beautiful the house was. We had our Shih Tzus with us, so it was a huge win to have a fenced in area for them to run around in. Everything looked and smelled clean and we loved the sweet gift left on the kitchen counter. The morning revealed the breathtaking view. We had a slight scare with a storm that knocked out the electricity, but when it came back on, the owners agreed to be sure an emergency kit would be provided in case it happens again. The Wifi was tricky and sometimes didn’t work, so go with the idea you’ll be unplugged. Tons of games in the basement and my kid loved Pacman. Top floor bedrooms do not have a shower on that floor, so if you need a shower, you need to go downstairs or to the basement. Coolest thing was seeing the deer visit next to the house. Everything was gorgeous, clean and the owners wonderful to connect with. Great place.
