There is a low ceiling - 7ft in most areas, 6.5ft in the bathroom.
The apartment has old floors covered with rugs for your comfort.

Duffus St. is on a main road in North end Halifax. There will be low volume road noise consistently.
Please respect this peace by not hosting large groups and having noisy evenings with friends.
We also call it a Artists Hideaway because it has a feeling of recluse being tucked away in a basement apartment in the quiet part of town.
Getting Around:
You are steps away from major bus routes, and minutes away from the downtown by bike.
If you plan to bus/bike/walk, you will be roughly 5-10 minutes to the nearest grocery store.
Other Things to Note:
The parking space in front of your door is our neighbors. Do NOT park there.
For daytime parking, feel free to use the Lawton's parking lot. For night-time, use street parking.
A few things about this unit:
- Ceiling is VERY low, at around 5’10”
- You will hear the steps of people above!
- Heat is centralized in this building, so there’s no thermostat in the unit. But the unit will still be at a comfortable temperature during the winter and summer!
There is no A/C, or cable tv.
Only one pet is allowed per stay.
The second pet is only upon request before a reservation.
Pet is limited up to 50 pounds.
Pet fee - $50 per stay/per pet.
