Ellesmere Lodge is a modern 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home based in Jacks Point. If you are a skier you will be thrilled to know Ellesmere Lodge is only a few minutes drive to the base carpark and entrance of the Remarkables ski field so just a short drive to be back home sitting by the fire rather than sitting in the traffic. Not a skier but a golfer? Then even better the world class Jacks Point 18 hole championship golf course can be seen from the front deck and is only a short drive away.

Ellesmere Lodge is located at the end of a quiet side street. It does have views over Orford Road towards the golf course and the surrounding estate. It is a quiet location so not suited for parties or loud music.
It is located less than a 10 minute drive from Queenstown airport (ZQN) and the Frankton shopping area. There you will find large supermarkets, a full range of shops and many cafes. Queenstown is a 20 minute drive away. There is over 35km of walking, hiking and cycling tracks right at the back door. It is less than 2 hours drive from Invercargill and is on the route from Queenstown to Milford Sound.
Originally farmland the Jacks Point Estate has been developed trying to keep the 3,000 acres in harmony with their original surroundings. From the planting of native fauna to the design of the houses this estate was 15 years in the planning.
Jacks Point is home to the acclaimed 18 hole Championship Golf Course, it has extensive mountain bike and walking trails, tennis courts, playground, sports fields and not to forget the Clubhouse and Restaurant which sit on the picturesque Lake Tewa which is also available for fly fishing. Here in Jacks Point we embrace the lifestyle and enjoy nature.

The interior designer has taken a lot of care and thought when fitting out this beautiful property. From the super comfortable couch in the lounge to a great coffee machine in the kitchen and the new beds in the bedrooms plus the extra storage in the wardrobes. You will find this property has a great home away from home feel which might mean once you checkin you might not want to check out.
We also have a brand new spa pool for you to sit back and relax in after a day exploring / biking / golfing or skiing.
There are 3 large bedrooms all have good wardrobe space so you can unpack your suitcase and put your things away .
Bedroom 1 (Master Bedroom) = King bed with walk in robe and ensuite and sliding door that opens onto deck area
Bedroom 2 = 2 singles or 1 King*
Bedroom 3 = 2 singles or 1 King*

The kitchen has quality appliances and everything you need to prepare great meals with the wonderful local produce available. The kitchen bench with bar stools is the perfect place for enjoying a drink with the "chef "of the day.
There is also a washing machine & condenser dryer located in the garage.
Bringing the kids with you? They are just going to love the climbing frame and trampoline out the back. We also have some tennis rackets for them to use the Jacks Point Tennis courts. We have also setup a ping pong table in the garage. And there is plenty of space in the garage if you want to bring your bikes as its just a short ride to the pump track.
It is recommended you have a car but not essential as there is a public bus that runs from Jack Point every hour.
We are approx 10 minutes from the airport and the Frankton shopping district.

We have an outdoor climbing equipment and trampoline. Guests are welcome to use them but the owners will not be held responsible for any injuries caused while using these items.
