Summary: This property is spacious and private. There's ample room for multiple families and their vehicles. It offers private access to a narrow, spring fed creek which may be accessed by ascending down a solid, concrete stairway right off the porch. The creek and surrounding brush make for scenic views. However, you can't swim in this water since there appears to be a lot of decaying organic matter debris rotting down below, but you can dip your feet in it and watch the fish and turtles. The wrap around porch surrounding the main house offers a great opportunity to enjoy the sunrise and the views and feels as though you're in a tree house since you're up in the canopy. There at many areas for groups to gather together or in silos. There is a fire pit and BBQ grill. There's even a hot tub, but our group couldn't fully enjoy this because the breaker wasn't working properly. Location, location, location. The property is situated close to state parks and the most popular eateries and outfitters in the area. The AC was amazing and the fridge cools well too. We didn't use the dryer nor washer, but these are available. I won't get into specific details, but in general, like many, many rentals, this property needs a deep cleaning. At a glace, all looked fine. Anyway, the property at large could use some TLC, as some things are falling apart and in need of repair. The grounds too seem to be ignored and there are such cute features like a collection of bird house, stone walkways and even a garden! We were in contact with the property manager about our observations and she was friendly and responsive in at least taking note of our concerns. She also grew up in the area and can be a source of information. Outside of appliances, bed linens on the beds (futons excluded), appliance and a BASIC cooking set and very heavily used pans that should be replaced and there could be bigger sizes of these, you'll need to bring everything else with you including all household cleaning essentials. Keep in mind that the guest house does not have a private room. There is no door to the bunk bedroom, and you can hear EVERYTHING from one end of the house to the 3 QB area. WE MOVE TO THE FOUTONS in the main house-HAPPILY. These weren't bad, actually. Overall, I would recommend this property. There's SO MUCH POTENTIAL and with this review and feedback, we're hopeful the owner makes some changes to spruce up the place to its full glory for many families to enjoy.
