Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very friendly and helpful welcome by host, with top tipps for the city. Only 15 mins per foot to historic center and just a few stations with metro from Porta Nova or even less from Porta Susa. Good supermarkets nearby. Safe entry with chip, lift available. Very small but lovingly equipped apartment, modernly equipped. Very nice and modern bathroom, shower with wooden floor panels. Comfortable bed.

Negative: Despite other reviews the apartment was very poorly isolated, so the noise from the 4-lane-mainstreet got unfiltered into the room. The tram from nearby station even brought the walls sometimes to vibrate. I am also irritated by reviews mentioning a view of the Alps - directly in front of the room there is another 10story building. The little kitchen area was functional, but also partly really too small to be convenient. Also pots or cutlery are advised to be cleaned by guests when leaving the apartment, and they were really not clean at all, so cleaning before using is advised. The provided kettle is a cheap plastic product smelling badly of plastic by-products. Waste is advised to be disposed before leaving (by leaflet in kitchen) - no biggy, but compared to apartment price and included price for end cleaning, okay not okay.
