Located just 20 minutes away from San Francisco our luxurious suite features a beautiful view towards the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, designed especially for couples wanting a romantic getaway or anyone needing a relaxing space. Soak and play in a gorgeous bathroom featuring a two-person jetted tub. Easy street parking is always available, garden lined exterior stairs take you to the private entry and exterior patio. A laundry is provided for exclusive guest use. Hikes into the canyon below or neighborhood above are a special treat.

This studio was designed by owner/architects, located on the lower level of their beautiful Mediterranean styled home, but has complete privacy with a separate entry and patio. The decor is modern and welcoming. The windows overlook a sea of California oak and bay trees to an amazing view of the new Bay Bridge tower, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge beyond. Fireworks in San Francisco can be enjoyed from the bed or the patio!
The suite features a wonderful king-sized bed; a beautiful designer bathroom with two-person tub, walk-in shower; plus a modern, unique kitchenette featuring Lavazza espresso coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods. Kitchenette includes filtered hot and cold water dispensers, microwave, small refrigerator, induction cooktop, and a "Ninja" oven that can toast, bake, broil, and air-fry! The dining table features a beautiful view as well.
The suite is naturally cool in summer, but an air conditioner is provided for those occasional hot days. Radiant heated floors are marvelous on cool days in the Bay Area. A laundry room with full sized washer and dryer is available for your exclusive use.
But the best part is the view...you can watch the sunrise illuminate downtown Oakland and San Francisco, enjoy ever changing sunsets, or perhaps witness a carpet of fog crowned by a clear blue sky. You will delight in the ever-changing view!

Oakland is centrally located in the Bay area and enjoys great sunny weather year round. Our neighborhood is called Oakmore Highlands and overlooks Dimond Canyon Park, which features a wonderful hiking trail. It's a very nice walking street, with friendly neighbors. Also very popular with bicycle riders.
Transportation and parking are very convenient. There is ample on-street free parking on this quiet street with only one immediate neighbor. Freeway access is very quick and easy via highway 13 and I-580. San Francisco is about 20 minutes away, or a convenient commute via BART from its nearby Rockridge Station. We are very near the University of California at Berkeley campus (~18 min.) and major highways 80, 580, 24 and 880, which can whisk you to the vibrant galleries of Sausalito (40 minutes), San Jose (50 minutes), or Santa Cruz (90 minutes). If you are up for a day-long outing, don't miss the grand Muir Woods, wine tours in Napa, or mud baths in Calistoga. Quick access to sunshine on foggy days via the Caldecott Tunnel to points east - Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, and Lake Tahoe (~3 1/2 hours.)
