There’s no better place to relax and explore the Surf Coast. Casa Luna Vida offers guests a special opportunity to immerse themselves in ‘Juc’ life. Quietly tucked away from the crowds and yet so close to parks and the Village shops, take an effortless stroll up to the clifftop lookout for daily surf checks of Jan Juc and Bird Rock. Gaze out over the sea to Port Phillip Heads and the distant silhouette of Cape Schanck. Watch the surf and passing ships or grab your surfboard and experience waves from Bells Beach to Torquay Point.
From this central location you can go across the road to the Bob Pettit Reserve to skateboard, play basketball, tennis, soccer, footy and cricket, or take your bike to the new MTB jumps park. Grab a coffee at Swell Café in the village (500m) and take in picturesque views as you walk to Jan Juc main beach and the Surf Life Saving Club.

Take a walk all the way through the Creek Reserve and you will arrive at Hoylake Ave – you’re nearly at the beach! Or stroll up to join the Surf Coast Walk to Bird Rock Lookout to get your own personal surf report. Coffee, brunch or dinner in the village is within walking distance too, as is the Surf Life Saving Club and the RACV. Holiday in a community-minded neighbourhood in one of the hottest spots on the coast and effortlessly embrace beach life.
2 cars can park in the driveway. Please be respectful to our neighbours and keep noise levels down.
Closest train station 20km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Jan Juc is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.

Beaches - Our beautiful local beaches include world famous surfing reserve, Bells Beach and Winkipop, a short 5min drive away. Go for walks along the clifftop track to discover waves for experienced surfers only, namely Bird Rock, Steps, Boobs, Winki Pop and Bells, with Jan Juc surf beach located further to the east.
Family-favourite, Cosy Corner, is a few km’s away and both Jan Juc and Torquay beaches offers patrolled family options for swimming and surfing in the summer months.
Spring Creek caters to family fishing, SUPing, kayaking.
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.
Adventure Park is also a great day out with the kids – approx. 45mins drive away.
