Popular Matakana Village Is less than 10 minutes by car. Here you can enjoy a movie at one of the boutique movie theatres, Saturday gourmet food market, and restaurants.
Catch a ferry from Sandspit (20 minutes car ride away) to historic Kawau Island or visit a number of wineries or breweries in the area.

Summary: The property was wonderful and suited our stay perfectly. There were 5 adults staying and it felt spacious. I’d highly recommend this property. The outdoor sitting area was a very comfortable spot in the evenings. And the outdoor shower was perfect after the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for anything needed. Communication with Barb was straightforward and everything was easy to work out. We’ll be back.
