The accommodation is part of an old renovated colonic house in the heart of Tuscany, at
only 20 km from Florence. You’ll find it in a tranquil location, which dominates the valley
and the surrounding hills. The house has a spacious external living with all the comforts,

Summary: It was my family’s first time in Italia, we decided to spend our summer holiday in Tuscany. Upon booking a week’s stay in Casa al Bosco, we didn’t know what would expect us - but after that week was over, we were really glad and satisfied we had decided for Federico’s rural house southeast of Firenze. At any given time, Federico prove to be a really caring and pleasant host and so was his whole family. Whenever we had an issue or a question, we didn’t need to wait long for him to take care of it. One evening, we were served a typical Tuscany five-course menu by his family which absolutely stood out as a highlight of our holiday and was an awesome experience to make - especially, as it has taken us beyond the borders of stereotypes of Italian food as it is known e.g. in Germany. The apartment was particularly tidy and clean - the furniture and all other objects inside were in a good condition. The usable part of the property, especially the large terrace, really invited to sit down after a long day exploring Tuscany, ending it properly with a glass of wine. Speaking of infrastructure, there is a nearby train station (10 minutes by foot) that will take you directly to the centre of Firenze in no time. If you are planning to travel to Casa al Bosco by car, there’s also a supermarket not too far away. In conclusion, we want to thank our dear host Federico and all his family for making our first (and definitely not last) week in Tuscany such a wonderful experience. We were really satisfied and will surely return someday!
