This beautiful, thoughtfully decorated and spacious 3 bedroom home is just 15mifrom The Airbnb is 15 minutes from most places you want to visit in Victoria. Hikers and cyclists, the location is close to the famous Galloping Goose trail and ideal for accessing the many hiking and running trails in the area. There is fiber optic wifi and a work station for those how need to work, but is an ideal space for family get togethers. The well equipped kitchen and adjoining dinning room are perfect for entertaining, with French doors leading out to the upper patio. Close to Victoria General Hospital, Commonwealth pool and Camosun College. You can head out for a run, walk/hike or cycle from the front door
This home has a fabulous kitchen/dinning room combo. It is a chef's dream and very well stocked with everything from wine glasses to a 10 piece place setting. There is always a good stock of basic cooking supplies: oils, vinegar, variety of teas, coffee sugar, flour, jam and peanut butter, etc. There is an excellent set of sharp knives for food prep. Also: 2 French press’, an electric coffee pot, an electric hand mixer, blender, rice maker. If you don’t see something that would be nice to have, please let me know.
The front room is a restful, peaceful setting with a large comfy chair and comfortable leather couches for reading, chatting or just relaxing.
In both the kitchen and the living room there is a large display of photographs on the walls from Cenfuegos, Cuba and also Spain and France. There is a separate area in the front room for watching TV. It is a smart 40" TV with basic cable and the major sports stations. There is also Netflix and Youtube.
The space is located on the second (main) floor. There are 13 stairs to access this area, but once there you will find a warm and inviting space, with beautiful gardens that you can view from inside the house and also from the two patios that are available for your exclusive use. The first patio is off the dinning room through the French doors. The lower enclosed patio is accessed by the stairs off your upper patio. Either patio would be a wonderful way to start or end your day with a coffee/drink while watching the humming birds .
You are also welcome to enjoy the rest of the gardens and the vegetable gardens. If it is the season, please help yourself to some herbs and tomatoes if they are ripe. Sometimes there are also pepper plants of various varieties. It is best to test carefully as they may be hot. I have a fig tree that has never produced much, but I am hopeful. I hope that you enjoy the garden as much as I do.

Food and Drink. Within easy walking distance there is The Crooked Goose Pub (a great place where the locals to hang out), Cherries breakfast Bistro and Pizazz Pizza, with gluten free options. A gas station and convenience store. There is also a wine and beer store in this same small mall.
I reside on the ground level of the house, with my own private entrance. I like to travel and have embraced the Airbnb lifestyle so will not always be home. Along the way I have met a lot of super people. I would love to meet all of my guests, however, at times may be away.
