Our home is settled in a gorgeous tree lined street at the far corner of a beautiful, quiet park. Instead of seeing neighboring houses, you'll see 70 year old maple, elm and oak trees with rolling grass lawns. Its perfect if you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet.
Step inside to hard wood floors through-out with cozy area rugs for warmth . You'll see the wood stove in the living room. It is filled and ready to light with more wood always available.
The Bathroom sits between the 2 bedrooms and is fully stalked with towels, soap, blow dryer, etc. Full size tub and large sink and toilet.
Kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes pots and pans spices and more. Coffee center has a new coffee pot and hot water pot with tea and coffee available. Dishwasher, Microwave are new, Refridgerator and Stove (highly functional) are from the 50's the year the house was built which adds to the charm of the house. The Dining Room connects with the kitchen and has sliding glass doors to the back patio.
The backyard is newly landscaped and has several fun features. The latest addition is The Art Barn, a covered shared space with hanging chairs and a little red propane campfire and BBQ. On the deck there is seating for dining and lounging, the lounge chairs are perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets! Blueberries and raspberries are yours for the picking when they are in season!
There is a good size flag stone patio in front of the house too. It's a fun place to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening, we enjoy watching dogs taking their people for walks.
The house has an attached garage with a room overhead. This room is also rented out as a vacation rental and uses the second bathroom and laundryroom.
It is surprising how quiet and private the property feels. Our son built a Tiny House in the backyard and is currently living there. He is rarely home and very quiet. Parkside Paradise (The Main House) and The Nest (The Studio above the garage) each have their own private entrance. Many of our guests comment about never seeing anyone else the whole time they were here! We think you will love it too!
