Not far away you can also visit Piazza Santissima Annunziata which houses the famous portico by Brunelleschi, majolica by Della Robbia and recalls the story of many Florentine orphans who in the past were welcomed here by the convent where they were given an identity and a new life . The Accademia Gallery and the Duomo are also nearby.
