This warm and welcoming riverfront home feels like a hidden escape — tucked down an unexpectedly country-like road in the heart of the city, backing directly onto nature (not houses!).
Set on over one-third of an acre along the Bow River, this is a place to truly relax. Soak in the hot tub while watching birds, go fishing right outside your door, or lounge in provided Adirondack chairs by (or in!) the river as boaters drift by, play backyard games with friends and family (including your fur baby), unwind on the swinging bench under twinkling lights, or gather around the either fire for the perfect evening.
At the same time, you’re perfectly located for adventure — with easy access to the ring road and the highway west to the mountains for adventure hiking, skiing, boarding, biking and canoeing, or straight east for exploring the sights of downtown or the Stampede.
Inside, the home offers two comfortable living rooms (including one with a wood-burning fireplace), creating plenty of space for groups to relax, enjoy conversation and play games or read a book from the "tiny" library.

Please let us know if you are travelling with small children and how we can help make their stay comfortable, safe and fun. Though we are not 100% baby/toddler-proof, we will do all we can to ensure you are aware of potential hazards and do our best to accommodate you. We have a portable crib, highchair, stairway gates and a selection of toys, puzzles and games.
We welcome your pets and know you will respect our home and future guests by picking up after them and not allowing them on the furniture or linens. Your dog will thrill at the endless opportunities to chase squirrels, but they cannot be left unattended in the yard while you're away or be allowed to dig or create ongoing noise disturbances. We have one large and one medium sized kennel that are available upon request.
If an even greater run than the yard is desired, we are immediately adjacent to the extensive Calgary pathway system and a quick walk to the nearest designated off-leash area.
Other nearby activities include Bowness Park and Lagoon with playgrounds, a free wading pool, and amazing lagoon and riverside skating in the winter. This park also has a restaurant, cafe, boat rental for Lagoon use, and a mini-train!
There are also a number of nearby sites were river rafts/canoes/kayaks and SUPs can be rented to launch off the beach or float right by your house!
You are within eyesight of WinSport, (just look out the front window!) and walking distance to the restaurants and shops of "downtown" Bowness.
A Superstore anchored strip mall is a 5 minute drive away.
For peace of mind, you are within 15 minutes of both the Alberta Children's Hospital and the Foothills Medical Centre.
