The spacious two-story townhouse in the Highlands subdivision is perfect for a large family, group of friends, or two families who want to spend time together in a shared space rather than paying for multiple hotel rooms. The townhouse is comprised of one side of a two-unit duplex and is conveniently located in the Highlands subdivision right off Hwy 82 on the east side of the MSU Campus.
The townhouse is located 2.8 miles to the MSU campus and 4 miles to downtown Starkville. Whether you are in town visiting family, touring campus, or attending a sports event, our townhouse will give you room to relax and enjoy your time in Starkville!
*PLEASE NOTE*
- You must climb a flight of STAIRS to access both bedrooms
- There is one exterior camera monitoring sound & video of the front entrance/driveway for the safety and security of the owner and guests
- There is space for 2 cars to park in the driveway. Please be respectful of driveway parking as we share our driveway with our neighbors on the other side of the duplex. (Please note: garage is accessible, but is only for storage and does not fit a full size vehicle)
- Guests have access to our own deck space, but we share a wooden fence divider with the adjacent unit, The Cowbell Cabana, which is also available for rent! Please be respectful of our neighbors.
-Fishing is allowed on the lake, so bring your fishing pole! Please don’t be surprised if you see some our neighbors out fishing around the banks of the lake!
- There are ducks on the lake. Please do not feed them.
- No swimming or motorized watercraft is allowed on the lake.
The first floor includes:
- Large 8'x10' outdoor deck with an unobstructed view of the lake and includes dining table & four chairs
- Comfortable living room with plenty of seating
- Large 58" Smart TV. YouTube TV is available for all guests. There are over 100 channels available including local channels, national channels, and SEC Network.
Guests also have the ability to utilize the smart TV to access streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, Disney+ and more. *Please note that guests must provide your own login information to stream services*
- Dining table with seating for 6
- Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to create that perfect tailgate or dinner menu! The TV can easily be seen while you are cooking and it includes a pass-thru to easily provide food to the crew!

Guests also have the ability to utilize the smart TV to access streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+ and more with their own provided logins. Includes ceiling fan and plenty of closet space.
- Second Bedroom with (2) plush FULL size beds and (1) plush TWIN bed (all mattresses brand new as of August 2022) with an attached full private en-suite bathroom . There is a 30” Smart TV with YouTube TV. Includes ceiling fan and plenty of closet space.
- Full size washer and dryer is available in upstairs hallway closet
