Welcome to our 1/2 A-Frame and 1/2 Log Cabin furnished Ralph Lauren Style, architecture of the cabin is so unique and fun. We'e on another site and have all 5* reviews!
We have all the modern conveniences yet set within a rustic setting. Fully enclosed yard for the pups. We provide Firewood for a nominal fee, effortless check-in procedures, Sono's Stereo System and a bubbling hot tub after those long days of hiking!
I am an honest Host and let you know exactly what to expect and I expect my guests to be respectful with their honesty as well.
Note: If you plan on hiking please check with the National Forest Service as they close the trails during high fire danger.
Occupancy Tax: Riverside County requires us to collect a 10% Occupancy Tax on all stays falling under 30 days. STVR Cerficate #RVC-1231. This is the same as a hotel tax.
As you walk in you'll find and open living with the living room with fireplace, dining room, sofa sleeper and kitchen with counter stools. On the main floor you'll also find the full sized laundry room , 1/2 bath and large walk in closet full of games. . Out the back door is a deck surrounded by lilac bushes, pine trees, manzanita trees, hot tub, outdoor seating for 5 and hot tub. Up a short flight of stairs is the large Master Bedroom offers a comfy king size bed, huge cathedral wood beamed ceiling with skylight where you can watch the stars or close it for darkness, TV and private outdoor deck with incredible views of the mountains. The Second Bedroom is also large with cathedral wood beamed ceilings, electric fireplace, TV and large closet. There is a large full size bathroom with a separate seating area, separate wall heater when it's chilly, make up area and full size shower/tub.
There is a charge of $50 per person/per night charge for guests more than 4 and up to 6. We do have am ADT security camera on site located at the front door which we are required by law to disclose.
The Lodge on San Jacinto is located in the coveted neighborhood of Fern Valley at an altitude of 5700 feet and a 4 minute drive to the middle of town.
With views of Lilly Rock, Suicide Rock, Tahquitz Peak plus the surrounding mountains from the large front deck, sundown is magnificent. The starry nights are incredible, download the Satellite Tracker on your Smartphone and watch the Satellites float by like shooting stars, even the International Space Station.
We are walking distance to the local restaurants and town. Just a short distance up Fern Valley Road to all of the renown hiking trails and the famous Pacific Coast Trail. We provide yoga mats for Full Moon Yoga or Yoga under the Pines, we also provide a foam roller for stretching after your hike.
We have a carport and a small parking area which can hold up to two cars, three if you are creative.
A fun way to start your trip is with a beautiful and delicious Charcuterie Board created by one of Idyllwild's finest residents. Carolyn and her family relocated to Idyllwild after the Paradise Fire where they lost everything, her husband works for the Forest/Fire Service keeping our small Community safe. She will create such a magnificent Charcuterie Board to your liking and deliver it when you arrive. What a great way to start your trip! FIREWOOD FEE: $40 firewood fee charged under Resort Fee and available as a convenience to our guests rather than overpaying for firewood in town.
NO PARTIES. We understand that you may have family or guests during the holidays and please let us know during time of booking. However, to our younger guests, no after hour parties will be allowed, your reservation will be immediately cancelled and you will be asked to leave.
Our Hot Tub is cleaned and sanitized after each guest's stay.
We would love to accommodate your stay in our 2 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath cabin decorated with Ralph Lauren Furniture and Ralph Lauren Linens. Many of our items have been collected over the years of travel and one of a kind pieces each with a great story, impossible to replace so please be kind. The cabin sleeps up to 6 people.
Please let us know if you will be having last minute guests or dogs that will be staying with you that are not listed on your Emergency Information Sheet that we provide or your original reservation request, extra charges may apply. There is a wireless Sono's Stereo System to play your favorite music off of your smart phone. Simply download the Sono's app to connect to the system to enjoy! Or, leave the windows open and wake up to the air filled with the music of the beautiful songbirds!
We've cut the cord yet have TV's in every room offering live TV, Prime Video, Prime Music, Paramount+, A&E, ABC, NBC and so much more via our Roku apps. Please be sure not to change any of the TV's to any other options such as "Guest". We have all of the TV's set to all of the favorite channels that you may wish for. Thank you!
If you are working remotely we have plenty of work space for that with High Speed Internet.
Water in Fern Valley is some of the best you've tasted. No need to bring your own water as the PH of our water is perfectly balanced.
The log pine interior offers a rustic rock fireplace, firewood is available in the wood shed for a nominal fee, upgraded fully stocked kitchen to create an elegant dinner with friends or a simple get together with family. Dining Room has large pine harvest table with seating up to six people. Laundry Room with Full Size Washer/Dryer. Located on the back deck you will find the sparkling bubbly hot tub, BBQ and dining table and chairs with seating for five. The large front deck offers seating on our bentwood Willow Chairs and Couch, perfect for morning coffee, conversation or cocktails all with views of Lilly Rock, Suicide and Tahquitz. We also have a carport to keep your car out of the elements
Guest access:
Guests will have access to the entire Cabin.
We also offer the National Forest Adventure Pass plus a second car pass for those who would like to go hiking.
Huge double fenced yard for your favorite four legged family member, pet fee is $50 per pet and is non-refundable. We are honest hosts and let you know what to expect, if you fail to disclose you are bringing your favorite pet the pet fee we will charge is $100 per pet/per stay, so please be honest when booking. This is not considered a damage fee. (Please let us know if you will be having pets at time of booking). Please be considerate and pick up after your pet, if we find pet droppings in the yard from your pup you will incur a pet poop picker upper charge of $50. It's a gross job and nobody should be picking up after your pet other than their pet parent. Thank you!

All reservations will require a signed Hot Tub Addendum and Emergency Information/Guest Sheet filled out by the Guest and returned to the Host prior to arrival.
