Toohey Cottage is our newly renovated 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom guest house located on the edge of Toohey Forest in Brisbane's inner south. With breathtaking views stretching from the city to Cunningham's Gap, this is the perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts and urban explorers alike.
Easy access to Griffith University Nathan Campus, QSAC, the city, Southbank, the Gabba, Tennyson Tennis Centre, QEII and PA hospitals.
The space

- Gorgeous new kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher. The butlers’ pantry includes toaster, kettle, microwave, capsule coffee machine and milk frother, as well as a European laundry (dryer is on the deck)
- Comfortable dining and lounge spaces, with large air conditioner and 4K 50” smart TV where you can log into your streaming accounts using our complementary Wifi, or cast your content from your smartphone.
- Amazing deck with outdoor setting where you can enjoy a takeaway from the nearby cafes, a home cooked meal or just sip your favourite beverage and watch the sunset over the distant mountains.
- Large, unfenced yard, with a beautiful garden and a resident scrub turkey called Ernest (he won't hurt you unless you're a pot plant! Most of the time you won't see him).
- Undercover parking for one small car, with tandem parking for multiple vehicles in the driveway. External stairs lead down from the deck to the under cover parking area

- The living space is all on one level without steps inside. There are a few shallow steps to access the front door
We are in walking distance of a range of cafes and restaurants including the popular Todd & Pup, as well as a bottle shop. Note, we are on the top of a steep hill.
The surrounding area is a nature lover's paradise, with numerous walking tracks through Toohey Forest. Access to the forest is a short walk away in a nearby street (no direct access from Toohey Cottage). Keep your eyes peeled, as you may even spot a koala or echidna during your adventures.
As your hosts, we live next door and are available to assist with any issues that may arise during your stay. We kindly request that you respect our quiet neighborhood and adhere to our strict no party policy.
