Ranch house directly into the enormous and dramatic great room, a Yurt/Buckminster Fuller-esque domed space, with a five foot diameter blue stone column fire place at its center. With arched 25 foot ceilings, wraparound windows, and multiples living areas that flow onto the 950sq foot deck. Wings on either side have 20 by 12 ft bedrooms with post and beam cathedral ceilings and a third smaller bedroom. All bedrooms have windowed sliding doors that open on to the deck and provide dramatic Mountain views.
The house is lovingly situated 100 feet above Wittenberg Road, directly across from Wilson State Park. The park boasts amazing nature and hiking paths around a body of water. Great for kayaking and even camping.
Two neighbors share an 11 acre parcel with 1000s of wild acres behind it, and thousands of acres of park land below it. You can walk to fishing and swimming ponds, nature trails, waterfalls, bike paths, and all other manner of outdoor activities in the summer. Cross country skiing, ice fishing, leaf and bird watching and sitting around the fireplace round out the cooler months. Deer, geese, wild turkeys, bunny rabbits and bears can all be viewed from their natural habitat from the large windows.
