Views, views, views!!
Mundhar is located on the famous Grandview Drive offering some of the “grandest” views on the Sunshine Coast. Yaroomba beaches less that 10 minutes' walk away through secret bush track. Only 5 minutes’ drive or 20 minutes’ walk to Coolum. Walking along the kilometres of surf beach is at your doorstep, as are shops, cafes and restaurants. For the more energetic, the stunning Mt Coolum climb is a rewarding challenge. Perfect for those who love nature, there are many walking and biking tracks around the area.
The main communal area of the house with its large sliding doors, vaulted ceilings, and louvred northerly aspect ensure the house takes full advantage of the ocean breezes. The internal living spaces extend outside to the expansive sheltered wrap around veranda which overlooks native bushland and the vast Pacific Ocean. At night the view turns into a fairyland with the lights of the coastal townships sparkling in the distance.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with modern European appliances including a four-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and family size fridge. Your arrival package will include, tea and coffee, cooking oil and milk.
The expansive veranda with ceiling fan and heaters is ideal for outdoor dining all year round. Around the corner is a private space to sit and read or enjoy a chat with a friend.
The generous lounge and dining areas both comfortably seat 8 people providing plenty of room for your whole group to come together. Play your favourite tunes on the Bluetooth equipped sound system, discretely hidden away in an antique gramophone cabinet.
Downstairs the media/rumpus room offers a state-of-the-art 65-inch OLED smart tv equipped with DVD player and a selection of DVDs. BYO gaming devices or password to access your favourite viewing app. Wifi internet access is available throughout the house. There is a small office area set up for those who need to catch up on work while away. When it’s time to put the screens aside, a selection of games, activities and books are provided. There is always a breeze at Mundhar, but for those hot sticky Queensland days, the house is fully airconditioned with a fan in each bedroom.

Four hens reside at the property well away from the house. They are generally self-sufficient but may need some attention, particularly during longer stays. Help yourself to the eggs!
